Let’s face it most of us old now. Let’s talk about our old favorite arcades that are no longer with us. I’ll start
Dream machine at eastfield mall. That’s the arcade that started it all. All I looked forward to was going there after school to meet up with friends and play extreme, then get a $1 double cheeseburger at the McDonald’s close by. I wasn’t very good at the game back then but I learned from so many players who are still active today and some that I wish were still around. Also the fact that that extreme cab had saved edits on it was the coolest thing. Mind you this was before ITG so for me seeing custom step charts for stuff at the arcade was so unique. I still remember everyone trying to clear Spekio 16. And nobody ever played the default cartoon hero’s step chart, we all played Barbie instead. So much fun was had there, and even though sometimes there was teen drama and what not (especially with the rivalry with Cyberstation at Holyoke mall) I still have a majority of good memories.
